Wow its been a while since I made time to actually sit down and write. So much as been going on in my crazy little world. Good news, I added a few more items to my already full plate. But these new projects have great rewards.
I am please to announce that I am officially back in school. Yes again. I feel like a career student. I have 4 classes to go. All electives which in my eyes means I have a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development. ( Soon I will be in control of someone's fate).
Also I am apart of my churches leadership team for Moms. The organization has been around for years, but we just incorporated it into our ministry and I am super excited. I am apart of MOPS. (Mothers of Preschoolers). A program designed for mothers of children under school age. The theme this year is "love as if your life depended on it".
Between working full time, attending online classes, juggling motherhood and wifery ( I just made that word up), finding some "Me" time is going to be challenging.
I learned today from a seasoned mother of four that I don't have to be perfect. God choose me to raise my son and has equipped me with all that I need. She said, "Mother carefully, not perfectly." Words of wisdom right. I have to check myself sometimes from trying to" keep up with the Jones". I can't meet the expectations of society. So I will stop trying. My job is to raise a child who will love God, serve others and, respect authority.
I choose to enjoy the season of life that I am in. I don't want to live life with regrets. I know that these are the most precious moments I have. I will not rush through life. I will make memories.

"I can't meet the expectations of society. So I will stop trying. My job is to raise a child who will love God, serve others and, respect authority"... If more mothers felt this way, we would have more MEN and young women that respected themselves and others. I ask God to continue to show me how to be a better mother so that these boys will grow into the men God desires them to be. You are doing exactly what He has intended for you to be doing.
